Have an upcoming event rooted in Black art, culture, creativity, or community? Submit it to the BAM Houston calendar so we can help amplify what’s happening across the city.

We welcome submissions for performances, exhibitions, workshops, screenings, panels, community gatherings, artist talks, cultural celebrations, and other events that align with BAM Houston’s mission.

Before You Submit

Please make sure your event information is complete and accurate. You’ll need:

Event Title
Use the official name of your event.

Event Description
Tell us what the event is, who is involved, and why people should attend. Keep it clear, engaging, and community-centered.

Date & Time
Double-check your start and end times before submitting.

Venue Information
Include the venue name and full address. For virtual or hybrid events, include the correct event link.

Event Image
Upload a clear flyer, promotional image, or event photo. High-quality images help your event stand out.

Event Website or Ticket Link
Add the link where people can RSVP, purchase tickets, or learn more.

Event Cost
Enter the ticket price, or enter 0 if the event is free.

Submission Guidelines

All events are reviewed before they are published. BAM Houston prioritizes events that uplift Black artists, Black culture, and Houston’s creative community.

Submission does not guarantee placement. We may edit event descriptions for clarity, formatting, or consistency.

Please submit your event at least 14–21 days in advance whenever possible.

Final Reminder

Before submitting, make sure your links work, your image is clear, and your event details are correct.
